At DB Sports International Soccer Academy, we provide Ireland’s first Full-Time Gap Year Programme in Dublin Ireland, designed for male and female soccer players who are wish to enhance their soccer skills both on and off the field.
Our programme offers a wide range of options from 1 to 9 months and runs from September to May.
A Gap Year in Ireland give s players an opportunity to be involved in a full time soccer academy while still receiving an education with one of our schooling providers.
Players are trained by UEFA A & Pro qualified coaches in Ireland National Sports Campus, Sport Ireland in Dublin.
We are proud to provide our student athletes with a pathway to success both on the field and in the classroom. Our Gap Year in Ireland combines a full time soccer course with education through our trusted academic partners at either Ashfield College or Pearse College.
Student Athletes & Players will benefit from UEFA accredited coaches and classroom modules and qualification such as Sports Psychology, Nutrition, Performance & Video Analysis, Math, English, Strength and Conditioning, Coaching and Referee Education and so much more
Our Gap Year Programme allows players not only enhance their potential as an athlete on the field but also a student in the classroom while in Ireland.
Our Full-Time Gap Year Program designed to help students athletes experience the life of a pro player while continuing their education.
We offer UEFA Pro & A Licence coaching, player position-specific training, nutrition education, video analysis and performance reflection, sports science & psychology classes, coaching and refereeing qualifications, weekly monitoring & feedback reports, and renowned guest speakers.
All students who wish to enrol in our Gap Year Programme must complete a registration form. Players may be asked for video footage to ensure that they are a good fit for our programme.
Our Gap Year Programme in Ireland, is located in the heart of Dublin at Sports Ireland, an Olympic-grade sports facility with indoor and outdoor pitches perfect for high performance athletes.
Our dynamic DB Sport International Soccer Academy cultivates tactical experience as players implement strategic game plans, adapt plays during matches, and respond to opponents’ actions.
As a student athlete on our programme you will receive football-focused mentorship from coaches with over 30 years of coaching experience coaching and playing at the highest level the game has to offer
