Players receive expert training on the core principles of play within our football curriculum: Defending, Transitioning to Attack, Attacking, and Transitioning to Defend.

Meet Our Soccer Camp Coaches

Paul O'Brien

Academy Director

Paul, our Academy Director, is a highly experienced coach with a broad background across various levels and age groups in Ireland. He has coached at the League of Ireland level with Shamrock Rovers, Bray Wanderers, and Klub Kildare. Additionally, Paul is a former FAI employee, where he worked with age groups ranging from U15 to U21, including the Women's National Team. He holds a UEFA A & Elite Youth A licenses, a Coach Developer Diploma from FAI/Sport Ireland, and a certificate in football business studies from the Open University.

KEVIN BEGGY

HEAD COACH

With several years of experience coaching at grassroots clubs and a master's in high performance from the MBP School of coaches in Barcelona, Kevin is a UEFA B license holder and a UEFA A license candidate.

FREDERICO COSTA

HEAD COACH

Frederico is an accomplished academy coach who has a Master's degree in Football delivered by Sporting Lisbon and worked his way up to become the head coach at Benfica Soccer Schools. He recently completed his UEFA B license and is currently studying to complete his UEFA A license.

EOIN WEAREN

HEAD COACH

Eoin is a UEFA A license holder and an experienced coach who has played for Ireland and several clubs, including West Ham United and Limerick FC. He's also been announced as the Shelbourne Senior Women's First Team Head Manager for the 2024/25 season.
